INFA Air was born in
1989 with the
purpose of doing research, development and experimentation in the
aeronautic field, so as to offer and apply to the sector's
initiatives the last generation technology. The possibility of using
in the traditional manufacturing of aircrafts the new composite
materials to improve the construction's quality, to increase safety
and performance as well as guarantee efficiency and resistance
during time, offers the opportunity to realize new and innovative
aircrafts.
In 2000 it was therefore decided to start working on the design of a
new ultra light aircraft, entirely made structure-wise with
composite materials and offering a higher level of aerodynamic,
habitability, ergonomic, finishing and passive safety
characteristics.
The first prototype of the
M1 AVIATOR appeared in
2002 at the
Milan INFA Air site: a
high wing single engine, (single-strutted) single strut, entirely
built in carbon and epoxy resins offering very interesting and
specific performances.
At the same time
INFA Air started working on a new
and
innovative propeller system named
STARPROP.
By using an oleo dynamic mechanical activation, the propeller system
developed by INFA Air introduces technologies set to improve the
overall performances and to significantly increase the level of
reliability during time and safety in general. The hubs are able to
accept nearly all the kinds of blades present today on the market
allowing in this way the installation of blades with personalized
aerodynamics and capable of satisfying the requested performances.
The
exclusive distribution for the Italian market
of the German
FASCINATION and
EVOLUTION
aircrafts designed by the world famous engineer
Wolfgang
DALLACH has been recently acquired to complete the
companies' activities.
Awarded at the last
AERO 2005 and
Friederichshafen edition in Germany as the best airplanes
present at the exhibition,
WD Technik has chosen
INFA Air to represent its own aircrafts on the
Italian market.
